12V cigarette charger with gator clips?

Do they make a 12V cigarette charger with gator clips? Thought this would be nice way for charging the flasher and camera batteries while on the way to the lake.

I thought I saw one at Fleet Farm once. If not it wouldnt be to tough to make either.

We sell that item at Gander also. It is called a Sportsman's charger.

Is it a charger onto itself or just gator clips hooked up to a 12v connection that looks like a cicgarette lighter?

You can get both. One of them has a 12 volt power outlet on the end of Alligator clips. Allows you to clamp on to a large battery and supply power for say your handheld GPS etc. They also make a convertor that you plug into an outlet and it converts the ac to dc. It has a 12 volt power outlet on it also and it would allow you to power your GPS while you were say indoors and wanted to practice using it without chewing up battery power.

I glad you mentioned the converter. I just realized that I have one of those in my pile of wires. Sometimes it is good no to throw stuff out. SOMETIMES!!!!

Charging a small battery from the lighter outlet can damage the battery. I use a #1157 brake/tail light bulb in series with the + lead. This way you have the option of 0.5,1.5 and 2 amp charging currents.

<BTW> This system works well when using high current battery chargers on smaller batteries. When the light goes out your battery is charged.
