Salona State Forest

Anyone hunt this? I hunt the southern part, West of Finlayson.

The specific part I hunt is going to be logged this winter, I think. All the mature oaks had red paint marks on them.

We had ok luck there this year. 1 doe for 4 hunters, but my mom hit a massive 10 (it ran onto private land and the owner shot it and claimed it).

Another hunter we talked with shot a big old 10 and we saw quite a few other deer coming out of there.

Anway, just wondering if anyone on here hunts that area.
