Well Rick not good. I went out last night in the Bergland Bay on Lake Gogebic and found about 3 inches of ice with about 25-30 inches of snow on the top. The good thing is the snow is fluffy but it is still scarry knowing there are still sink holes out there that cant be seeing. I am heading out on Saturday and Sunday and with the high winds to blow off some of that snow and cold temps I think I will be ok, but I will still have a rope tied on and a life vest.

I am heading up to Red in a month and Mille Lacs at the end of Jan. I am just itching to get out, but as they say "There is not a fish out there worth dieing for", but my come back it always "But there are alot worth getting cold for" shocked.gif

Hey Perchking, this is Nate from Bessemer, thanks for signing that petition. If you're up for it, I think a few of us might be heading to Ashland on Sunday for some Coho's. Let me know if you are interested and maybe we can meet up.

Hey Nate,

I was up there last Sunday and we killed them. Me and 2 buddies from work caught 31 lakers/Cohos, it was an awesome day. I am fishing Lake Gogebic on Sunday with Brandon and Brian, I have yet to land a 2lb'er this year (Perch) but hopefully this weekend I can coax them into biting. Keep me posted how you do in the bay.

Later Nate.

PK
