coleman generator question

I've been looking at coleman generators. I see a few on line that are the 1800ex models. I can't find anything about these on the coleman HSOforum. these have the subarau engines. are these as good as the briggs models??? this model is like 2250 surge watts and 1800 continuous watts. the other's I've been looking at are 1850 surge and 1500 continuous. does anyone know anything about these 1800ex units????

I just bought one of these from Home Depot. Starts up right away, not too heavy or loud. I haven't been able to use it a whole lot, but so far so good.
