Where to hunt?

I did not fill my tags on opener. I ask the DNR if I can still use them in the metro, and I can. They told me I can use them in areas 228 and 337. I can't find and place to hunt in those areas. Can any one help me find a place to hunt?

Check out the rec compass on the DNR's HSOforum for public lands. I hunt several with my bow. I'm not giving them up htough cause I can hunt till new years.

Next best thing is to start knocking on doors and see if people are receptive. Offer to shoot does only.

WHat I do is get a map of the 2 zones and blow it up from something like google maps or something like that. Compare it to aerial photos for finding cover. Lots of farms on the edges of town to hunt, but if they are all harvested than they have no cover.
