Hey guys I would like info on some of your go to lures and colors. I have heard of the jigging demon spoons and marmooska lures, but when I look for them in stores or bait shops they are sold out. So I would like to get a jump on rigging up this year. The lures do not have to be the 2 kinds that I mentioned. Thanks In Adavanced!!

What are you mainly fishing for? This would help out a great deal.

If you like Panfish than I would get an assortment of Ratso's and Shrimpo's. I prefer the Ratso's because of their horizontal profile. Little Atom also makes a great assortment of lures. They also have soft plastics to tip on your jig. I have had great luck with the Nuggies.

Depending on what lakes you fish and what size fish are in there, I have been kicking some butt on Crappies and Sunfish on Power Minnows and Power Tubes. The profile and action are great and really draws in the bigger fish. Don't be supprised if you start catching Bass and Pike on these baits too.

For Walleyes, Perch, Pike and Crappies I really like the Go Devils. They vary in sizes but I tend to use the smaller ones more as I use them to search out active Crappies.

To better serve your Ice fishing needs check out Thorne Bros. They have a ton of Ice fishing goods in stock and the people who know how to use them. You could also get an autograph from Matt Johnson! grin.gif

Let us know if you have any more questions.

Good luck,

As Corey mentioned Go Devils are a good choice. If theres one lure I can't live without it would be the Scenic Tackle 1/16th ounce Perch Go Devil. Whether its summer or winter, walleye or crappies, I always have good success with this one!!

I recieved my first one at an Iceleader event on winnie a few years back. I landed my first Winnie walleye on it as well as my first Red Lake crappie. Since then I have caught countless fish on this lure. I always have a few spares on hand just in case!!

If you guys like Marmooska jigs, there is a world of similar jigs out there now in many different colors and sizes.

Little Atom makes the Optic Stealth Jigs.

Your Bobbers Down makes the Fiskas Wolfram Jigs

Custom Jigs & Spins has the Diamond Jigs.

Each company has different paint jobs, slightly different jig shapes, and different weights as well. The Wolfram jigs are tungsten so they can be smaller, yet still heavy. The common denominator is all these jigs are made to fish fast & deep while maintaining a small size. These are "must haves" when fishing panfish in those 30' holes!!
