Just Sharing - Deer & Elk Hunt Pics

Recommended Posts

I've got an uncle and a couple of cousins who live in South Dakota who have taken some nice deer these past couple years. Just wanted to share their pictures. Deer pics are South Dakota deer.

Also, my one cousin guides elk hunts in Montana. I think this is his second year doing it. Also wanted to share a couple of pics I got from his guide trips, although whomever took the one pic didn't do a very good job.

Not mega-trophy bucks, but all nice ones in my opinion. One of these days I'm going to have to get out there and join them for a hunt! smirk.gif

Thanks.... With 1 day 8 hours and 45 mins left before hunting you have to go put me over the edge by showing me all those cool pictures.

Looks like some great animals. I could only hope to be that lucky this weekend.

thanks for shareing.

At least they're not related to you! wink.gif Here I got relatives going out shooting these nice bucks and sending me pictures of them year after year. What's even worse is they've scouted bigger bucks in the area they hunt, but had to "settle" for these deer because it was at the end of their hunting trip. I told them "Gee, that must suck". crazy.giftongue.gif

Mega-trophis might not have been the right word to use. Mega-bucks might have been better. They are dandies, no doubt, and I wouldn't have a problem mounting any one of them! smile.gif

Funny thing about the buck in the first pic...my cousin hit it with his bow the night before, couldn't find it, the next day he and a buddy were duck hunting down the creek you see in the backround, they see a rack on shore and sure enough, it's got the arrow he shot it with!

Ya just never know how things will work out sometimes. smirk.gif
