was wondering if anyone knows when they open up the goose refuge for pheasant hunting?

I was just down there last week, and by the sounds of it I don't think it will ever open up to pheasant hunting. But I could be wrong. Also, we did quite well hunting the neighboring public spots.

It's been a few years since I hunted out there, but back then they opened the refuge to pheasant hunting on the 2nd weekend of deer season. I don't know if that's still the case but it shouldn't be too hard to find out.
