Size of short 11lb LP tank

Looking for the size H x W of short fat 11 lb lp tank? want to make a organizer for my portalbe. plan to use the small tank this year. Also wheres the best place to get one? thanks

Not sure of the dimensions, but Fleet Farm usually carries all different sizes.

They make a short fat 10 lb. and a taller one that is smaller around, I have both, the taller one stores easier layed on its side in the sled, but tips over easier, the short fat one is more stable when used for heating and transporting. I like the s. f. one best.

As best as I could measure it, 12.5 inches tall and 12 inches across at its widest.

I agree with efgh. The pancake style tank is a lot more stabel on the ice!

Go with the short one. The taller ones dont get any heat on the ground level and makes for a colder house. Thats why I like the MR. Heater Cookers.
