I dunce know about the St.Louis River but an old friend of mine from skool has some land up there. I guess its right on the river and he has invited me to come explore...I think I will!

A GOOD PLACE FOR CATS ON THE ST.LOIS IS RIGHT THERE IN BROOKSTON BELOW THE BRIDGE . I HAVE DONE VERY WELL THERE.ALSO BELOW THE HWY 2 BRIDGE IN THE PARK THERE OR EVEN TRY BY THE OLIVER BRIDGE IN SUPERIOR

Hey Jar Jar:

I too am interested in cats on the St. Louis. Fished them for years on the Red in and around Grand Forks, including a trip to Lockport, Man., the channel cat mecca. Do folks in the St. Louis use fresh cut bait like suckers, goldeye, tulibee and frogs like we did on the Red?
