Guest
Thanks Fishhead. I highly recommend catfisherman grab a subscription to the Catfish In-Sider and grab the 2002 Cat Guide, great useful information in every issue guaranteed. It was great to see Big Whiskers Hoffman do a piece on the baitfeeder spinning reels now on the market. I have been a big fan of the Baitrunner for many years and now we have many more reel options to work with, great cat & walleye reels. Basically any time you run floats or slip rigs these reels pay off big time. Remember folks, "Piggy's are my business and business is good! (I have already started booking 2002 guide season, first come first book, peek times fill fast. I have 2 special SUMO PIGGY hunts planed for 2002, call or email me for details. We-We----><,SUMO,> ) ........><,Go-Piggy,> [This message has been edited by Backwater Eddy (edited 01-01-2002).]
Toad
Some good insights Ed. Glad to see that some of our true river cat rats are receiving due attention. Now that Stange's in charge of the helm here, you can bet we'll be seeing a good bit more attention given to our favorite fish. By the way, what's a guy have to do to fish with the Red's best guide these days??? Take care buddy & continued success.-a friend called Toad
Guest
As always Toad we just need to find the same river at the same time. I hate to rub it in but you missed out on a sumo-fest last August Eh. Lets get on the river soon as possible this spring, you have a open invite ya know bud.Fist come the walleye then cats, if a guy gets really lucky both at the same time.I have been scouting cats on the ice, so far more walleye then cats, but that works too. Guest
Thanks, the In-Fisherman staff did all the work I just tossed out some cat chat and Bingo it's a article, those folks produce a top quality product. For long time catfish Gurus or the aspiring catfish hunter it is well worth running out and pick up the 2002 Catfish In-Sider Guide and the In-Fisherman, they are full of great information and tips. This season the In-Fisherman will air more catfishing segments then ever on the In-Fisherman specials, so be sure to catch them all. You will see some SUMO Piggy's that will scare ya! ><,SUMO,>------------------"Ed on the Red"Backwater Guiding Service[email protected]fishingminnesota.com/ed-on-the-red/

Steve Foss
From another Red River catfish angler, good to see the Insider guys giving Eddy the ink. They've long known the Red is great cat water, although they've paid the most attention to Lockpor
Guest
Yup-yup, great to see the Red get some coverage, the whole Red. The Red River is 550 miles long but all too often all you hear about is the last 6 miles worth. But they are some special 6 miles I will be quick to admit that Eh! From Wahpeton ND to Lake Winnipeg you find great fishing so be sure to not jump over miles of unfished river to fish heavily fished sections of river. Eh Dark30, You bet we be Sumo hunting come May, gona be fun, we-we............Go-Piggy! ------------------"Ed on the Red"Backwater Guiding Service[email protected]fishingminnesota.com/ed-on-the-red/
