BigDaddy
I recently bought a used crank-down ice house. It did not come with a battery. It is wired for 12v to power a radio, fans, and lights. What type of battery should I get? I assume that I should get a big, deep-cycle. Any brands, retailers, or types are appreciated. Thanks! 0 Whoaru99
Actually, from my experience, most any of the "ordinary" name brand deep cycle batteries do OK as long as you take care of them. The more expensive ones probably hold up better if less than ideal maintenance/charging conditions exist, IMO.
