How do you like your luan paneling?

It has held up fine for me so far.

I painted both sides with good paint, the only bad thing about it, it eats up the paint fast I had to use 1 1/2 galons of paint to get good coverage,

The other good thing about luan is the weight it really saved me alot, so now I have more room for the good stuff.

Oh, paint the ends of the sheets too

I have Luaun in my shack.

I didn't finish it with anything and it has done alright.

The house tends to frost up a little in the corners and the Luaun soaks up the water when the frost melts off.

My plan was to finish the Luaun with Outdoor Polyurethane (Spar Varnish) but that plan has been put off for awhile now.

The paneling has been in the house for 2 years now and it looks fine. No buckling, delaminating, discoloring, or anything like that.

I like it because its 1/4" thick and adds strenth to the structure of the fish house. You can also mount your lights, rattle reels etc. to it without hitting framing behind because it is 1/4" thick.

Hanson, you wouldn't believe the color of the woodgrain after it gets the spar-varnish. It looks awesome!
