Sandbar
Sifty,I found some excellent Tiger shrimp at Sam's Club. They are devained and frozen, sold in a 2 lb bag. The price was around $13.50 for the bag.Sandbar

Sandbar
No, the Sam's Club shrimp have the shelll on. I prefer to have the shell on when frying. Give them a try. They are reasonably priced and the quality is excellent.Sandbar [This message has been edited by Sandbar (edited 10-11-2004).]
Phred52
Thanks Sandbar! I was lookin' for the shell on shrimp! It's the best way to grille 'em, they don't stick on. ------------------NOBODY ever died, wishing they had fished....LESS!!
Fergus Mor McErc
Coastal Seafoods in Minneapolis. And remember....in MN, there's no such thing as fresh shrimp. If someone tries to sell you 'fresh shrimp'...run the other way. If it hasn't been frozen, it's several days from the boat that caught it. How many? Who knows. Fresh fish is at least a day out of the water when it gets here, but more than likely two or three days and shrimp isn't marketed the same way fish is. Unless one lives on the coasts, frozen seafood is the way to go.
