98 polaris sportsman 500?

I've got the '98 Sportsman 500. I am picking up a 4x8 (49" wide on the inside) trailer with 1' sides. Do you think the sportsman 500 will fit? Anyone know the width of them at the tires? I don't have my wheeler close by to measure it.

They fit between the wheel wells of a truck and, that's 48-inches. It'll state the width on Polaris' HSOforum, too.

Sweet! Thanks Dave! I just bought the trailer & my Dad went out and measured the wheeler for me and said it was 48". Snug but fine with me! He even mentioned that it fit in the back of the truck and that's 48".
