Hole Sleeves

Whats better Black or White hole sleeves? I would think white cause then you can see down the hole better.

I just got some glow ones when I picked up my fish house!

Does the glow in the dark help?

Not a clue,yet but I would think it would help.I tried them the other day and they seemed pretty bright!

I like the black ones, you don't see the dirt on them! I have the Catch Cover sleeves. I looked at the glow in the dark ones, but not at all impressed. Those are made in China and will not fit the Catch Covers anyway because they are 1" larger. They have a lip on the bottom of the sleeves that can freeze in the ice and make it harder to get them out. I will stick with the American made catch cover!

Hey deepportage01,I will see if I can post some pictures,am not done yet with it I just bought the shell.Talk about a lot of work I got all my wiring I ran if you can belive it 450 feet of 110 wire 14 outlets 8 switches and my satalite cable got it all insalated and plasticed all up got all my grove pine paneling I went 42in from the floor up then I am just about done with my white fiberglass panleing that stuff is a pain to work with and got my bathroom all framed in I have been going no stop since I picked it up a week and a half ago

Do the black ones make it more difficult to see down the hole?

No, the shorter black sleeves you can always see your bobber just fine. I think if you needed the longer ones, white would be the way to go.

I have the white ones from fish house supply, I think they reflect light better then the black ones. A wet rag will clean off any dirt or fish blood, they are a great product.

How many inches of "sleeve" do just the catch covers have?

I have the 17" sleeves. I like the glow idea? but maybe this is not the best way to go.
