SE Minnesota Colors

Took a tour around our neck of the woods this weekend. I am somewhat disappointed in the fall colors down here this year. Most trees in my area went from green to brown in just a few days. Still some good colors to find, just a bit spoiled from our trips to the Northland the past few weeks. It was another great weekend to be out, although quite windy. Here are some pics from the Mississippi river valley near LaCrescent.

Nice stuff, WCS. As you know, when overall fall color isn't too good, there still are pockets of mid-range landscape color that look nice, as well as closeup stuff. I'm a LaCrosse native, so you were shooting right in my old back yard.
