synthetic 2 cycle oil

Iam planning on switching to amsoil synthetic 2 cycleoil in my 1996 50HP Evinrude tiller outboard w/ oil injection. My oil resevoir is probably less than 1/4 full. Can i just fill it up with the synthetic or should I somehow drain the remaining standard oil? thanks

I swtched to Penzoil Synthetic about 6 years ago. Waited til the low oil alarm sounded, then filled it with syn. oil. Never had any problems.

I know Amsoil isn't TCW3 rated, but their lable claims they meet all TCW3 standards, one of them is it has to be able to mix with all other TCW3 oils.
