fishingbuddy
Looking for anyone that has an 1850 Sportfish that has put rod holders for trolling. Where did you put them? Flush Mount?ThanksThanks
0 Northlander
I would flush mount either Rams or the new Cabelas Quick draw I think they are called. I have the flush mount Rams and really like them. If your going to do BIG Lake trolling with riggers, dypsies etc. I would go with some metal tube mounts on a track system so when you trailer with a cover on you can take the holders off and the track system wont bother your travel cover. 0 DinkADunk
I have 24" Bert's Custom Tackle track mounted on the gunwales near the rear seating areas on my 1800 Lund Fisherman (similar layout to yours IIRC). I can install rod holders (Cabela's on an adapter plate) or Downriggers as conditions warrent. Up front I use the same Cabela's holders but rail mounted.
