Earn a buck

I know this should be in the huntinf forum but I put it here since it applies only to WI. I got an Earn A Buck sticker in the mail today. What gives? I haven't even purchased a hunting license for this year yet?

Not to mention, I have yet to find a good recipe for the horns. I love to eat venison, couldn't care less about the horns. If ole mossy honrs ambles by, I'll put him down, but until then, I will enjoy as much venison as the dnr will let me shoot.

Wade thats kinda weird that they sent ya a eab sticker. Since your in a herd controll unit. Did you hunt in a eab zone last year by any chance? You bow hunt at all? I picked up my bow and gun license and they gave me 5 tags. I have a hard time eating 2 deer a year. I let does go by the heard. If i could only find people who want them. How much land did you get over there?

I hunted near La Crosse last year, maybe thats why the EAB.

I have 5 acres....I (or someone else) could bow hunt the back edge. I have seen plenty of deer going thru as wellas coming to eat the apples from the tree in the back yeard. I need to get a new bow first.

BTW, I'll take the extra deer. My family loves venison and I can't seem to shoot enough with just a gun.

The EAB stickers are from last year - you must have registered a doe in '05.
