Wrong deer license

Hey all,

I have the question into the DNR, but I thought maybe someone had experienced this before and would have a quick answer for me. My Uncle bought a deer license for zone 4 and applied for doe permit. Our party is moving to zone 2 this year and he didn't know. Can he have that licensed voided and new one done for the new zone 2.

Any input would be appreciated.

He should be able to go to the ELS agent and have them change his electronic status and reissue a new license in the correct zone. Have him bring his wrong tag and hunting license with him along with his ID. He will probably have to pay a reissue fee ( I think it is around $5) along with any increase in going from the one license to the other.

Exactly correct. The only addition is make sure he does it before the season opens. You can't make changes once the season starts.
