Canuck
I drove down into the US yesterday just to pick up my trail cam, a 8 hr drive. I had been having some problems with vandalism at the end of our driveway and I also wanted one for scouting deer and elk. I have spent about 8 hrs now trying to figure it out and have I think most things figured out but still some major items I need help with.(1) What is the difference between events saved and images saved?(2) In this one area it says if I have the flash turned off it won't take a picture at night. I purchased the noflash as I did not want the flash at night and just the night vision thing.(3) My biggest problem. I purchased a card so I will be able to swap my camera card and this one to view at home. It shows 4 events saved but 0 images saved. I have tried to save the events to the compact card but I must be doing something wrong. I have also tried to take the pictures without the card as it says it will save I think 10 or 20 images internally and then transfer them over to the card but still NO way.I have the camera delay set at 1 minute and the event delay at 5 seconds. Does this mean I am going to have to wait for one minute between pictures taken? Alot can happen in that minute. The one min camera delay is the smallest it can and so is the 5 sec event delay.HELP PLEASEIf anybody knows of the 800 number for cuddeback it would help also. BLACKJACK
I don't have a Cuddeback but on my trail cameras, the number of 'events' is the number of times that the camera detected motion. The number of 'images' is the number of pictures taken. Set you camera up in you garage or by your dog kennel to test it out before you take it into the field to ensure it works.
