I'll prolly be going to mohrs tomorrow morning. There will probably be 3 of us. Did you hunt there today? Howd you do?

Do be honest, I wouldn't even waist your time at Mohr's place!!!! We only saw 4 geese all day! We hunted the morning and afternoon hunts, and there was nothing. we did leave my 10 decoys out there overnight in the one field. We are going to try it one more time and leave the field to sit for the next couple weeks! Were just going to go out there because, we didn't have the time to check out our other fields. I'm not giving you a line of dump, I'd seriously try some other field, there was pretty much nothing!!! Sorry Man, you could hunt with us, but I have a small spread out there and I can only occupy 2 maybe 3 hunters, and there is only 2 of us.

How'd you guys end up doing there today? Actually good thing we want to our other field we ended up knocking down 6 between the two of us. We had 2 pairs and two loners come right in. 1 pair came in right behind us never made a sound and we didn't see them till they were 5 ft in front of the pit. Surpraise they didn't flair as we were standing in the pit and talking. So that was kind of odd. But hey whatever it takes.

we ended up getting 1 loner, but that was all we saw. Went out again monday night, holy dump!! Tons of geese flying, but most of them were heading south. Oh yeah, for the most part we probably won't be hunting mohr's fields, because we got permission to get on Lake Omsrud. We might still hunt there every once and a while, but who knows. Its going to be really nice hunting there cause there is no pressure!! The way it sound is that me and the 2 others that hunt with me will be the only ones out there!!! Were going to go and check out the lake this weekend and see what the lake is all made up of!!

Just wondering how you guys have been doing and where you've all be the past two weekends. Were going to hit the field Sunday to do something different!!!

Opening weekend, Catmaster and I got 9 ducks for 2 days on hanska, 6 woodies and 3 mallards, this weekend we split up, I hunted with a group of 3 other guys and he hunted by himself, he got 2 both days, 2 woodies on hanska and a teal and a shoveler on clear. We got 31 out of our possible 32 for the weekend, mostly teal with a few woodies, a shoveler, a ringneck and a gadwall. One guy in the group shot a fully colored greenwing. This was on a slough that is around Swan.

Been eating lots of ducks latly, anyone got a good way to cook them on the grill other than wrapping in bacon?

Cat- saw you out on clear this morning!! How did you guys do? We just couldn't get them to decoy in, but did get the cans to get close enough to get one out of them. Brother-in-law got to nervous and only got one shot off and then gun jammed!! It was nice to hunt clear again!!!

1 very nice drake wood duck, hen mallard, and 1 drake ringneck. Mallards were very difficult to get decoy this morning.

Delta, You been hunting Clear lately? Seen there was someone else out there last weekend but wasn't sure if it was you or not. Me and a buddy hunted saturday and sunday. Shot one Gadwall, a few teal, and 6 ringnecks. There was a ton of ringnecks out there and quite a few Gadwall and mallards as well.

I wasn't out there this past weekend, I tried a little lake by Fairfax though. Last time I hunted clear was last wed. and got a limit of birds. greenhead, 2 gadwalls, and a ringneck! I plan on hunting there this weekend at least Saturday and depending on how it goes, I might try Osmrud on sunday. Haven't been there for about 3 weeks.

wondering what your guys plans are this weekend for hunting, because I'm going to be going solo and was wondering if either one of you were going to be going solo too, then maybe we could hunt together on Sat.. Let me know!!
