Autopilot connection problems

My autopilot intermittently won't turn left. Its the same with the foot pedal or copilot. It works whenI wiggle the connection for a while, then stops again. I tried putting dielectric grease on the prongs of the male part of the connector, but still does the same. Any suggestions?

I have had this same problem with mine. I make sure the connection for the wire that comes off the motor to the base is secure. Problem does not seem to be with the foot petal or power plug connector. When ever I have a problem now that is the first place I check and it solves the problem for me.

I also had similar troubles. Mine ended up being traced to the plug on the copilot! I took the copilot to a minkota services center! It was under warranty and they replaced the whole thing. End of troubles!!
