JohnMickish
Quote:hmmmm...Atlanta comes to mind a while back...and effectively took Jr. out of the Chase. But he didn't stand a chance at winning the championship anyways so it was ok. One bad finish and the team folded like a Fiat in a head on crash.Jr. admitted after the crash (Atlanta) that it was his fault and if he where in the other car he wouldn't let anyone slide up like that too. I guess he should have been a little more careful.
LMITOUT
Actually he did have a very good chance up until that crash at Atlanta. Do you really think that's what he really felt?? Did you happen to watch Raceday on Sunday when they were talking about paybacks? You never cry or rant and rave after someone takes you out. Walk away and don't make a big deal....then a few races later you wreck the other guy while not under a microscope which Cole has put himself under for his Danica Patrick-like tirade. The score is even and off to the next race.
NAPAFISH
Anybody who applauds Carl or thinks he deserves a hand shake is NUTS!!!Carl Edwards is a jacka$$!!! Say Carl crushes Jr's hand while its out the window, then what?? What if Robbys hand is crushed between cars???Memo to Carl: This is not the movies. This is real life. Instead they just slap him on the wrist.Hitting another car when you least expect it is dangerous
JohnMickish
NAPA, you bring up a very good point, and what if Driver X breaks his neck because some driver (could be any driver) delivers an avoidable hit going for the win? In this case I suppose Jr.s spotter should have warned him. Anyways, in this case it's clear that two drivers let their emotions get the better of them. We could "what if" this to death and it will keep going until someone does get hurt, which will be to bad. On to Bristol.
