two new gifts

The Mom-in-law picked me up this beautiful daylilly the other day. It has huge blooms similiar to the size of a stargazer. I thought about cutting that other stem, but it had three seperate new buds on it.

This is a Hibiscus that I picked up for the wife the other day. These plants are great, it's too bad that there blooms only last for a single day. Yesterday it had 8 blooms open. There are two today and it looks like there will be 5 on for tomorrow.

Wow, the red is intense on the end of the Hibiscus pistal (did you PP that?), very nice.

No sir. THe only PP on that shot was a slight sharpen.
