Looks like you got a new fishing partner! Cheers! Being the father of a 3 year old and a one year old, I know the feeling. Dont sweat the sleepless nights. Those go away after awhile. Cool thing is, you can start buying extra tackle for your child now. It is an easy sell to the wife. Congrats!
