Tom Wilson
Rambis, The top pic is nice, but would have been great with a flash. It is nicely composed and the lines created by the drooping flowers are pleasing. It is about 2/3 of a stop underexposed, and the flash would have helped with that, and would have illuminated your bee, for some great detail. The second photo is interesting as that is an unusual perspective. Tom W
Tom Wilson
Were these scans from prints???The top photo I noticed has a very film like grain to it.Also what does that title mean "some shot t.wirth"???Just curious.
Steve Foss
I like that top one too. The patterns created by the shafts of blossom are strong. Nice composition. It is a bit underexposed, as Tom mentioned.
Rambis
I shot these at Theodore Wirth Parkway in Mpls. The Bee shot was with my 400mm zoom lense. I tried to mess with it in Photoshop but could not do much with it. I am using a Nikon D50 and yes I was just using the (Contact Us Please) buttons on the side. I guess I was just being lazy. I usually try to shoot in the manual mode. Thanks again. I really appreciate the advice. I can't wait to get out there again and try some new things. You guys are great.I am very happy to found this site.Rambis
