Just a fun thread for you all.

Any one ever eaten eel pout?

Just wondering if I am the only wierdo out here that has and does. I figure as long as those things are going to make a career of tangling up my line at night then I am going to get something in return.

I must say the nick name of poor mans lobster is correct. It is actually pretty good, if you dip it in butter. Then again butter fixes most everything.

Tasty tasty tasty! some of the guys I fish with can't even look at me when I'm poping tasty little pout chunks in my mouth man there good Oh, and all you guys that though them on the ice and leave them come on put them back in the lake for me and the rest of us pout people.

Yep, and no it doesn't taste like chicken! What I had did taste like Walleye. It can either be deep fried like walleye or boiled and broiled and then it is suppose to taste like poor mans lobster.

I have heard and I do believe they taste good, though I have never tried one. Man they are ugly *****************.

I hear ya, it is hard to get past that look, but once you do you will like it.
