Mille Lacs "heatwave" fishing

Recommended Posts

I was up to the big pond with three buddies chasing Walleyes, Smallmouth and Muskies, we did alright on the Walleyes and okay on the Smallmouth... I had a muskie miss my Hellhound lure, but he launched up out of the water and that was cool! I had another next to the boat that hooked up briefly but got loose quickly (muskie action was all in Vineland Bay) (Smallmouth was on north side of Indian point) (Walleye action was all over from mud to sand on the west side as well as Sloppy Joes) here are a few images and thank goodness for a breeze Friday to a big blast on Saturday or we would have been toast!

Me with a slot fish ~ long lining with copper spinner and crawler harness.
