Father Hennepin or Kathio

Wich would you prefer? I like the idea of being on millacs but Kathio seems a little more family friendly (I'll be bringing my 3 yr old boys with). I've never stayed at either so any opinions are greatly appreciated!!

Kathio has a nice playground for kids that age and the swimming area is good. There's a intrepretive building with activities and displays. One year the kids got to help build a teepee. Both are pretty hard to get into without a reservation although rustic sites at Kathio are generally available.

Thanks Ifallsron! You where correct, Kathio is more small child friendly. The swimming area was perfect for our boys. It seemed an odd setup at first but is a practical idea. They also had a good time using the playground. I was impressed with all of the campsites and the park itself. Plenty of trees for shade and well maintained. Overall there first camping experience was a good one.

That's good to hear. We're taking our new rig there Saturday for a shakedown trip.
