looking at a 04 600 low mi.good price

has anyone anything to say about them GOOD OR BAD

I want to hear all opinions ether way

this is going to be my first wheeler mostly for ice fishing and hunting

I have an 2004.5 600 sportsman and it has been great. I have not had any problems yet. I did get the cold weather updates done under warranty to help with cold weather starting, but no real problems. It has been a good machine for my use - hunting,fishing,yard work, etc. Plenty of power and fun to ride. Good luck on your new wheeler if you decide to get it!

The updates that I had done were a re-jetting for better cold weather starting, which has not been a problem, and a breather tube that has insulation in it to reduce condensation. They are minor and were done under warranty on my machine.

My dad has the same wheeler. It is a good running machine. It has slightly more power than a 500HO. It has a nice trail riding suspension. Good clearance. Stock tires are ok at best. (itp 589's are the way to go IMO) Negatives, it is a really heavy machine and it doesn't have a real good turning radius. If you are planing on only using it for just pulling trailers, putsing on the trail, and icefishing; at the right price it would probably be a good machine for you.
