0 Valv
I don't understand how it can seep in, livewells have a pump in back of boat to allow water in, it doesn't flow by itself. If your livewell is under water level you could put a plug into inlet, also you can use a plug (just like your boat main plug) to close pump inlet. If it has a stainless steel screen on it, it will just screw off. 0 BobT
I owned a 1991 Rebel. The drain in that model's livewell sat below the waterline, especially if there is more than one person in the boat. Naturally, water will come into the livewell via the drain. Put the overflow tube in the drain and you shouldn't get water inside. The only other way for water to get into the livewell is if the hull of your boat is cracked on the outside wall of the livewell. You should be able to see that quite easily. The water will not come in via the filler tube, unless the pump is turned on because the fill tube is near the top of the well; well above the water line. 0 Valv
If it's as BobT says you can also put a standard boat plug into drain hole inside livewell or outside in the draing outlet.I think the tube will be in your way if you store in it.
