Anyone know or have a miracle worker that has a 80 horse merc they want to get rid of and can get on my boat by Friday at 5:00? Issues with the replacement motor I bought. yeah I know good luck finding this.

What's the issue with the motor from Hannays? Couldn't get you in soon enough?

either they did not test the motor before putting it on or what not, but they calle dand said engine either blew as they were running it or going to do a carb replacement and then 3rd cylinder went out. not sure but 3 days there and thinking I was going to have it for this weekend with 10 kids and now no motor . going to be a long weekend.

Sorry to hear that... better they found it there than sent you on your way with it though and you found out on the lake and were really unhappy...

Thanks, I know. just frustrating as this was the only 80 horse I can find anywhere used and such. And the kids were looking real forward to it. Not a problem spending money but 1500.00 for them is getting a bit high for price.
