Hey, I just thought I'd throw this out there before I toss those reels. Anyone ever have problems with a symetre with the anti reverse going out of it? I know I can just call the factory/e-mail them about the problem but I want to know if anyone else has had any problems in this area with their reels. I primarily fish walleyes and I don't think I abuse my reels. I was just wondering if anyone has blown out the antireverse gear besides me. I use them for jigging, rigging and casting cranks and on occassion troll with them. I don't snap against a snag with them but I do set the hook hard. My biggest problem is that I fish alot of rocks/wood cover for eyes and occassionally set the hook into wood/snags. Just curious if anyone has had a similar experience or if it is just me. I don't want to fish with a baitcaster due to the long casts I like to make and I only fish with 6-8lb test at the very most when I am casting jigs and cranks. I service my reels every spring and clean them and relube before I hit the open water. Any advice? Thanks!
I am so very sorry to hear this and so sorry for the loss of Chamois. She was beautiful companion.
We will always miss the dogs we have lost. Unfortunately we lost both of our dogs just 6 days apart in November.
