LOTW, Nestor Fall, Stevens Bay, How's the fishing???

Good Day to all. My family and I will be heading out for the Nestor Falls area. I am loooking for any info on the fishing. What is and what ain't? Hope any of you good folks can help! Thanks StM

Heading there tomorrow in the AM myself. Where are you staying? We're on an island just out around the point from the Gov dock in Nestor Falls. Will be in a blue/white Skeeter tiller and a couple Alumacrafts. If your around and see the boats, feel free to stop by and compare notes.

We will be at Young's wilderness camp. Not sure where gov point is. we're back in steven's bay. Young's is great! The guest service is so good, they'd wipe your tush if you ask! We fish mainly around stoney protage and bays just past the stoney entrance.I run an aluminum mystic river

boat! This will be my 5th year.If I see a map I can point out some walleye holes a guide once took us!We will arrive sunday afternoon. Just ask for saintmark!

just got back from Nestor Falls and the fishing for us was SLOOOOOOOOOOW! We scratched out some fish but nothing to pattern, every time we changed tactics(?) we would pick one and only one up, change it up and just a single. We put on well over 100 miles running to the main part of Sab bay and everywhere in between. We tried minnows, leeches, crawlers and any plastic we had. The kids had almost better luck off the docks. But I'm ready to go next year again. The fish will not defeat us that easily.
