Tyler Holm
Well, I'm heading to Chamberlain this weekend, but I'm told that fishing is secondary. I guess we are making wedding plans and all that stuff. I going to try to sneak out in the wee times of the morning (5:00 am - 8ish). I'll be shore fishing. If anybody wants to go, shoot me an email before 5 today. I'll give a report when I get back.
Tyler Holm
Well, I had the chance to hit the water twice this weekend on the great Missouri. I fished Satuday from 2-4ish in the afternoon. I didn't have any live bait, so I tried plastics. I tried gulp & power bait, but couldn't connect with much. I did manage 2 large silver bass. The first one was caught on a white gulp 2" minnow and the 2nd was caught on a power bait 6" crawler that i cut in half and threaded onto a THO 1/4 oz jig. I got up early Sunday morning and grabbed a scoup of minnows and set out. First cast yielded a tiny silver bass. Second and third cast I had bites, but didn't connect. Good Stuff I was thinking... Well all that fun slowed, but I still managed a small pile of fish. 3 eyes, 4 silver bass, and 1 channel cat. Even though I had live bait (minnows), most fish came off the crawler power bait. The biggest eye was 14-15" and the cat was a 2 pounder or so. Everything was released. I took some pictures with my camera phone, but they didn't turn out the best. percherman
Tyler: I could almost feel the wind off the river, and hear all the familiar sound out there by those pictures. Must have been heaven!!

efgh
We caught quite a few stripers 6-12 ins. when we were using walleye snells, 6 ft. leaders, white or gold spinners and crawlers. Started using no spinners , just bright red beads to catch eyes.
