I seem to have trouble seeing the screen when it is really sunny, any suggestions? Yesterday, my poloarized sunglasses made things worse.

I believe that was one of the first color units Lowrance produced and there were complaints from fisherman about that. I don't know if there is much you can do.

I have the 25C and absolutely no complaints seeing the screen with polarized glasses and the brightest sun. Very pleased with this unit.

You might want to mess around with the contrast.

I usually keep the backlight on all the time too.
