Johnson fuel line

Hi Guys,

I'm a bigger boat newbie. I have a 35 Johnson. When I connect the fuel line to the motor it feels kinda loose and wiggly. When I squeeze the bulb fuel leaks from the motor connection. I'm assuming there is supposed to be some kind of a seal in there but I can't see it anywhere. What seals between the fuel line and the "Clicker into thingy"?????

I'm not 100% sure about your setup, but look to see if there is a groove on the male part of the hookup where a rubber O-ring should go. Perhaps the O-ring is missing.

Definately a groove there. Thanks. I'll slap in a ring and hopefully that will do it.

I'm with Smokey. The O ring inside the plug has to be bad, so you'll need a new plug. Simple fix...take old one off and put a new one one.

It was the ring inside the plug.
