BobT
When going into Canada I know we are allowed to bring 1 case of beer per person. If memory serves me correctly, we are not allowed to bring liquor across. Can anyone confirm that? If we are allowed, what is the limitation? Thanks,Bob
jstirewalt
BobT:You are allowed to bring either a case of beer or 1 liter of hard liquor per person without having to pay duty.JStirewalt
NBR
And the duty will be very close to the purchase value in the US. Buy your alcohol products in Canada it will save you money!

Zaraspooks
It is actually 1.14 litres(40oz) of liquor. Our group of 8 brings in 12 - 750ml bottles and have no problems. 12 bottles are 9 litres so we are actually .12 litres short of of allowable amount.
