It seems to me that Childress is overwhelmed by being a head coach. At the very least he should turn over his play calling duties to someone else. Now I have no ideas if they have someone in the organization that can call plays or if that is something else they need to go outside and find this off season. So many holes to fix and not enough thumbs and fingers..

Wonder how Childress will analyze himself? Maybe he won't see himself as part of the problem because he is too self absorbed. I hope the other 2 braintrusts give him a review and show him what he needs to improve at...like listening to his players and communicate with them. He has this psychology background maybe he should use some of it on himself. He should see that he is trying to put a square peg into a round hole and telling everyone that it will fit. He better make good player decisions during the off season and have a winning record next season. You cannot go from a 9-7 season to a 6-10 season and say the team is improving. This time next year Childress might be looking for a new job if team continues to struggle. I don't think Childress won't be getting many offers (from nfl)if his attitude doesn't change. He might have to go to college teams. Owners are having a shorter leash on coaches i.e. Mora, Green, because they want to win now and see progress.

I say clean house at Wr and draft Jarret from Usc or Johnson in first round and in 2nd round get breaston from Michigan. Then draft fast pass rushers 3rd and 4th rounds and that should help. Maybe they could get some decent Wr in free agency. I predict if they get some decent Wr's and pass rushers like this they will be 10-6 with Jackson at QB. Packers 9-7 and yes the Lions will be my surprise team at 9-7 and Bears will have off year at 6-10. Why they drafted Greenway insted of Maroney last year I have no idea.
