Trolling motor trouble

I have a minkota powerdrive 65 lb. (3yrs. old) w/ copilot, and this past weekend no matter what it was set on it only had high speed. didn't matter if I was using the foot control or hand remote. Could it be that the circuit board in the head of the unit got wet? Any advise would be great. and how much are general shop fees on avg...

I had a problem with my autopilot last spring. The compass wasn't working at all. Lucky for me, I have a cousin that works for Johnson Outdoors, so I got it repaired for free. All they had to do was put in a new circut board. Not sure what they charge for shop fees. Got mine back the next day.

It's probably the board in the foot control. Borrow one and you can be sure.

If the CoPilot and the footpedal both do the same, my guess is the main control board is at fault. If it is indeed 3 years old, p/n 2304045.
