Wondering if anyone has had to convert their X67C Ice Machine to a portable unit. I ordered my portable transducer from LEI Extras and it looks like I will have to do some wire cutting on the transducer cable to connect to my 12 volt battery power source. As it is, the new transducer comes with a plug for a power source...problem is my ice machine runs off of a 12 volt battery with no plug...just actual wires from the winter ducer that connect to the battery posts. Does this sound right guys? Should I cut the plug off and connect the little clasps that connect to the battery posts? Let me know if you have any secrets on this. Thanks for your help! -Hawks
