portable fish finders

Question

I'm looking at an Eagle 245 DS portable. Obviously my budget isn't the hundreds or thousands and this seems to be a good unit for the price. Anyone have any experience with these or any other portable units that you can either recommend or warn off?

Thanks!

I hooked an Eagle fishmark 480 up to a bluebox and got a suction cup transducer mount.Worked flawless,a couple hundy for the 480 and 8 to 10 for the transducer mount .Good price and easy to transport on a flyin..

I went with the Eagle Fishmark 320 and I'm convinced it's the best $150 I've spent in a long time. I've never had a graph that I could see my jig with before (open water that is). This one works way better than I expected for a $150 graph. The sales guy conviced me to go with the one I did over several different models, some cheaper some more expensive than this. I sure am happy with the one I have now. Good luck.
