This photo was taken by an aquantance of mine, Jim Williams who does the birding section on Wednesday for the Star Tribune. We frequently exchange e-mail pics and I liked this one that he took this past weekend at Crex meadows near Grantsburg, WI.

That's a very nice composition. Jim must know his way around a camera as well as being a veteran birder and an excellent writer.

He's a nice guy, I think I may forward him a link to this site and see if he'd participate with us... he's nice guy and lucky enough to be able to travel a fair amount it seems, last week he was down in Texas near Padre Island I believe. I met him out at the airport this winter when we were both taking pictures of the Snowy Owls that were out there.
