Freaky Lowrance X125's

I had my new boat (Crestliner SC1750 w 115 Yam) equipped with two finders, the X125 Lowrance, one in bow, one at helm. They are linked through the Minnekota Universal Soar device. The bow unit is all over the place-shows water temp at 32 and depth at whatever, from moment to moment. Unit at the helm seems stable and accurate. What's going on gang?
What do you guys think of this model finder?

I guess I would start by flip floping the units. If the bow unit still acts up I would guess there is something wrong with it. You can go to Lowrance web site and ask them the same Question.

The universal sonar does not have a temp sender. Go to your menu and turn off the overlay for the temp.

Any chance the unit not working right is on the "Simulator" mode??

sound like the unit is in simulation, go into the menu under sonar features and turn the simulator off.
