The LOTW opener was quite good this year. Caught fish from 5 fow and also from 17 fow. Our limit is now at 4 so that makes it pretty easy! Got 1 eye at 25 inches, half dozen or so 17 to 19, lots of 15 inchers. 1 Pike in the mid 30 range and a Smallmouth came in the boat near 19 inches.

Sounds like some folks got some fish, that's good to hear. I was out Saturday and my father boated 1 eye, and I got 3 bucketmouths. Just couldn't seem to find them. I suppose I will try this weekend. Funny thing, the only eye we got was in 24' and we were fishing south metro. We also lost some shiner tails in that depth too.
