Baitcasting line choice

I need to replace the line on my baitcasters and i was wondering what type of line i should use, since there are like a million types. I mainly use these rods for trolling, and casting into the weeds for bass.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use 30 lb. Power Pro for my bait casting reels

I was a Power Pro believer until Sufix Braid came out this year. My vote goes to Sufix Braid. 30lb Test/8lb Diameter.

I agree with IceOut on the 30 lb. Power Pro. I have had two spools with defects in the past two years though...

Power Pro 50lb 12 pound Diameter I believe works the best.

I find it unnessecary to use line that heavy unless pikin or musky huntin!

I use my baitcaster for pike and i use 17 pound test P-Line on it. I have been really satisfied with it fot the 2 years i've been using it.
