I have a Lowrance X65 and sometimes it is impossible to see in the sun.

Has anyone used a glare guard? I ran across one doing a search for glare guards for fishing electronics.

Is your X-65 the older non-color screen. I had an X-85 and had the same problem. Just the way of non-color. I would say if you could fit the glare thing to your fishfinder then go for it, I think that would be a good idea. Good luck and let us know if it works. I went to a color fishfinder and solved that issue. I did not realize they made sunscreens for specific models.

I have one of the older models of the x-65. Got my Raptorcap today will try it out next weekend to see how it works. Looks like a decent product.[note from admin, no unauthorized links please]
