trailer tire pressure

picksbigwagon

Question

Okay, I checked the tire pressure on my trailer and one wheel was at 70psi and the other was at 32. The tire itself says max pressure of 35psi...what is the correct pressure? I have a shorelander trailer and 16 foot crestliner on it. 40hp and a 9.9 on the back as well

The max tire cold pressure should be on the sidewall of the tire.

If this is a used trailer its possible you have a trailer tire with a higher load rating then the other tire. Thus the different pressure in both tires. Look at the side wall and look to see if the load ratings are the same. If they are different you'll eventually want to get an other tire to match the trailer tire and load ratings.
